<br />130 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1999- 26 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING A REVISED AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY <br />AND JEFFREY H. KESTER & ASSOCIATES FOR PROFESSIONAL <br />ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE TOURIST <br />INFORMATION CENTER CONSTRUCTION PROJECT; AUTHORIZING <br />THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF <br />THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. An agreement between the City and Jeffrey H. Kester & Associates for <br />architectural services related to the Tourist Information Center Construction Project was <br />originally approved by City Council on December 21, 1998. <br /> <br />2. Subsequent to that approval, and prior to execution of the agreement, the <br />architect requested that revisions be made to the agreement, and the City is willing to <br />accept the requested revisions. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The attached revised agreement between the City and Jeffrey H. <br />Kester & Associates for professional engineering services in connection with the Tourist <br />Information Center Construction Project is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute the <br />Agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
