I I I RESOLUTION NO. 1980-7R 31 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF THE COMPLETION OF A WATER LINE EXTENSION TO AN AREA ANNEXED BY SAID CITY OF JUNE 6, 1979; AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT FOR THIS CONSTRUCTION; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, has contracted with Du-Mor Enterprises for the construction of a water line to an area annexed by the city on June 6, 1979; and, WHEREAS, the construction of this water line has been completed; and, WHEREAS, said construction has been cleared by inspectors for final approval; and, WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of San Marcos recommends that the City Council accept the water line for use by the City and authorize final payment to Du-Mor Enterprises in the amount of twenty thousand seventy one dollars and twenty eight cents ($20,071.28); now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the work performed by Du-Mor Enterprises in construction of the water line extension to an area annexed by San Marcos, Texas, on June 6, 1979, be, and is hereby, accepted as being complete pursuant to the terms of the contract for said construction. PART 2. That the City of San Marcos is hereby authorized to make the final payment to Du-Mor Enterprises for said construction in the amount of twenty thousand seventy one dollars and twenty eight cents ($20,071.28).
