<br />42 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1980-4 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING <br />ORDINANCE 1972-7, ADOPTED MARCH <br />13, 1972, WHICH ESTABLISHED AND <br />REGULATED VARIOUS FEES AND CHARGES <br />FOR CABLE TELEVISION SERVICE WITHIN <br />SAID CITY, BY INCREASING THE MONTHLY <br />SERVICE CHARGE TO SEVEN DOLLARS AND <br />FIFTY CENTS ($7.50) AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas <br />on March 13, 1972, granted to Cable TV of San Marcos, Inc. a <br />franchise for the distribution of cable television service; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, established on that <br />date requlation for fees and charges for such service; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an January 14, 1980, a public hearing was held In <br />said City for the purpose of considering an increase in said <br />fees~ and charges; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after said public hearing, the City Council de- <br />termined that an increase in fees and charges is justified; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDATNED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That Ordinance 1972-7 of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, adopted March 13, 1972, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Charges for television cable service for service <br />within the corporate limits of the City of San <br />Marcos, Texas, shall be according to the following <br />schedule: <br /> <br />Residential Rates: 1st Outlet 1st Addn. Outlet Other <br />Monthly Service Charge $7.50 $1.50 $1. 00 <br />Installation Charges $9.95 $5.00 (a) <br />Reconnection Charge $5.00 $-0- $-0- <br />Transfer Charge $5.00 $-0- $-0- <br />Motels, Nursinlg" Ijomes" <br />Monthly Service Charge $7.50 $1.25 $1.25 <br />Installation (a) <br /> <br />(a) A charge shall be made for time and materials <br />used in installation. The charge shall be <br />computed on the basis of actual cost to the <br />supplier of the service. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
