65 RESOLUTION NO. 1980-16R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZ- ING A~CEPTANCE OF THE COMPLETION OF CON- STRUCTION OF A T-HANGAR STRUCTURE AND MAINTENANCE SHOP AT SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT FOR THIS CONSTRUCTION; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. I WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, has contracted with Heinroth & Morgan, Inc. for the construction of a T-Hanger structure and maintenance shop at San Marcos Municipal Airport; and, WHEREAS, the construction of these T-Hanger structures and maintenance shop was completed on February 14, 1980; and, WHEREAS, the Director of Community Services has determined that the construction is acceptable; and, WHEREAS, the Director of Community Services recommends that the City Council accept the T-Hanger structure and maintenance shop for use by the City and authorize final payment to Heinroth & Morgan, Inc. in the amount of Twelve thousand, eight hundred ninety dollars ($12,890.00); and, WHEREAS, Heinroth & Morgan, Inc. requests final payment for the completion of the T-Hanger structure and maintenance shop; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: I SECTION 1. That the work performed by Heinroth & Morgan, Inc. in constructing the construction of a T-Hanger structure and maintenance shop at San Marcos Municipal Airport be, and is here- by, accepted as being complete pursuant to the terms of the contract for said construction. SECTION 2. That the City of San Marcos is hereby authorized to make the final payment to the Heinroth & Morgan, Inc. for sald construction in the amount of Twelve thousand, eight hundred ninety dollars ($12,890.00).
