67 RESOLUTION NO. 1980-18R I A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZ- ING ACCEPTANCE OF THE COMPLETION OF THE EXTENSION OF A WATER LINE TO PROPERTY OWNED BY STEWART AND STEVENSON REALTY, CORPORATION IN SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZ- ING FINAL PAYMENT FOR THIS PROJECT; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, has contracted with Du-Mor Enterprises for the construction of a water line to property owned by Stewart and Stevenson Realty Corporation in the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas; and, WHEREAS, the extension of this water line has been com- pleted and Du-Mor Enterprises, on February 18, 1980, requested final inspection on said construction; and, WHEREAS, said final inspection was conducted on February 21, 1980; and WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and the City Manager of the City of San Marcos recommend that the City Council accept the water line for use by the City as of February 21, 1980, and authorize final payment to Du-Mor Enterprises in the amount of Two thousand ninety two dollars and five cents ($2,092.05); now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, 'fEXAS : I PART 1. That the work performed by Du-Mor Enterprises in cOLstructing the water line extension to property owned by Stewart ~nd Stevenson Realty Corporation in San Marcos, Texas, be, and is hereby, accepted as being complete pursuant to the terms of the contract. PART 2. That the City of San Marcos is hereby authorized to make the final payment to Du-Mor Enterprises for said con- struction in the amount of two thousand ninety two dollars and five cents ($2,092.05).
