77 ORDINANCE NO. 1980-11 I AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SEC- TION 29-110.1 ENTITLED "TO BE PLACED AND MAINTAINED AT OR NEAR SPECIFIC STREET INTERSECTIONS" OF ARTICLE V, ENTITLED "TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES" OF CHAPTER 29, ENTITLED "TRAFFIC" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, BY CHANGING THE TITLE OF SAID SECTION; BY ADDING SIX LOCATIONS AND DELETING TWO LOCATIONS AT WHICH POLICE ARE AUTHORIZED TO PLACE TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNALS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That section 29-110.1, entitled "To be placed and maintained at or near specific street intersections," of Article V, entitled "Traffic Control Devices," of Chapter 29, entitled "Traffic" of the Code of Ordinances, City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 29-110.1 Traffic control signals The police department of the city shall place and maintain traffic control signals for the purpose of regulating, guiding or warning traffic at the following street intersections within the limits of the city: The intersection of Broadway Street and State Highway 123. The intersection of C.M. Allen Parkway and Hopkins Street. I The intersection of C.M. Allen Parkway and University Drive. The intersection of the east access road to Interstate Highway 35 and State Highway 80. The intersection of the east access road to Interstate Highway 35 and State Highway 123. The intersection of Edward Gary Street and Hopkins Street. The intersection of Edward Gary Street and University Drive. The intersection of Guadalupe Street and Comal Street. I The intersection of Guadalupe Street and Hopkins Street. The intersection of Guadalupe Street and Hutchison Street. The intersection of Guadalupe Street and San Antonio Street. The intersection of Guadalupe Street and University Drive. The intersection of Lyndon B. Johnson Drive and Cheatham Street. The intersection of Lyndon B. Johnson Drive and Hopkins Street. The intersection of Lyndon B. Johnson Drive and Hutchison Street. The intersection of Lyndon B. Johnson Drive and San Antonio Street (two separate traffic-control signals to be placed at this intersection).
