I I I 91 RESOLUTION NO. 1980-23R ORDER DECLARING RESULT OF REGULAR CITY ELECTION THE STATE OF TEXAS X CITY OF SAN ~~RCOS X On this the 7th day of April, 1980, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, convened in Special Session, open to the public, at the regular meeting place thereof with the following members present, to-wit: John A. Hansen, Mayor, Council Hembers Ted Breihan, Robert L. Cavazos, Berry R. James, Kenneth E. Sutton, Gilbert G. Tenorio; and City Secretary, Doriss Hambrick; and the following members absent: None, constituting a quorum, and among other proceedings had were the following: Mayor Hansen intorduced a Resolution and Order. Council Member Cavazos moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Council Member James and the motion, carrying with it the adoption of the Resolution and Order prevailed by the following vote: AYE: Breihan, Cavazos, James, Sutton, Tenorio, Hansen NAY: The Resolution is as follows: There came on to be considered the returns of an election held on the 5th day of April, 1980, for the purpose of electing the hereinafter named officials, and it appearing from said returns, duly and legally made, that there were cast at said e~ection 2727 valid and legal votes; that each of the candidates in said election received the follovling votes: FOR MAYOR NAME OF CANDIDATE TOTAL NUMBER OF VOTES Kenneth V.
