<br />80 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1998- 1 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A UTILITY VEHICLE FOR THE <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT THROUGH THE STATE GENERAL SERVICES <br />COMMISSION; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE <br />PURCHASING DOCUMENTS WITH THE STATE ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The purchase of a utility vehicle for the Fire Department from <br />Lawrence Marshall Chevy-Olds DCPJE, Inc. located in Hempstead, Texas through the <br />State General Services Commission for $25,522 is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Larry Gilley is authorized to execute appropriate <br />purchasing documents with the State on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
