<br /> 59 <br />* County wiLL not sign contract due to a disagreement in dollar amount. <br /> RESOLUTION 1997-- 10 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN THE CITY AND HAYS COUNTY FOR THE <br /> RECONSTRUCTION OF A PORTION OF SAN ANTONIO STREET; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THIS <br /> AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. Hays County desires to enter into an interlocal agreement with the City of San <br />Marcos for the City's reconstruction of the 100 Block of East San Antonio Street adjacent <br />to the Hays County Courthouse. <br />2. The interlocal agreement is entered into pursuant to the Interlocal <br />Cooperation Act, Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code, as amended. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. That the attached interlocal agreement between the City and Hays County <br />for the City's reconstruction of a portion of San Antonio Street, is approved. <br />PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute the <br />agreement on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
