26 1 RESOLUTION 1996 - 7R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CERTIFICATE TO WILLIAM E. STULL P/B/A LAVISH LIMOS, FOR THE PROVISION OF LIMOUSINE SERVICES IN SAN MARCOS, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. RECITALS: .- 1. On January 22, 1996, the San Marcos City Council held a public hearing regarding an , , application for a certificate from Billy Stull d/b/a Lavish Limos for the provision of limousine services in San Marcos, Texas. 2. Notice of the public hearing was given to the applicant and also by publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the City at least ten days prior to January 22, 1996. 3. The City Council finds that no other luxury limousine service is currently operating in the City and that a luxury limousine service is required to adequately serve the public's transportation needs and that the applicant is fit, willing and able to perform the service and to conform to the provisions of Chapter 15 Y2 of the San Marcos City Code. 4. The City Council, having determined that all requirements of Chapter 15 Y2 of the San Marcos City Code pertaining to the issuance of certificates for limousine services have been met by the applicant. . BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the issuance of a certificate to William E. (Billy) Stull d/b/a Lavish Limos, for the provision of luxury limousine services is approved. . PART 2. That the City Secretary is directed to issue a certificate to William E. (Billy) Stull d/b/a lavish Limos, authorizing the operation of one luxury limousine within the City. PART 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
