<br /> 63 <br /> RESOLUTION 1996- 19 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE SUBMISSION OF A REQUEST FOR <br /> CONTRACT AMENDMENT NO.3 TO CONTRACT NO. 702302 BE1WEEN <br /> THE CITY AND THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND <br /> COMMUNITY AFFAIRS FOR A GRANT TO CONSTRUCT A HANGAR FOR <br /> SOUTHWEST TEXAS AVIATION, INC. AT THE SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL <br /> AIRPORT; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS <br /> ASSOCIATED WITH THIS REQUEST ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. On March 27, 1995 the City approved Contract No. 702302 with the Texas <br /> Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) for a grant to construct a hangar <br /> for Southwest Texas Aviation, Inc. at the San Marcos Municipal Airport. <br /> 2. Additional time is necessary in order to complete the project. <br /> 3. Both parties wish to amend the agreement to increase the amount of time <br /> for completion of the project. . <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1 . That the submission of a contract amendment request to TDHCA for <br /> an extension of time on Texas Community Development Program Contract No. 702302 <br /> between the City and TDHCA, a copy of which is attached to and incorporated in this <br /> Resolution for all intents and purposes, is approved. <br /> PART 2. That the Mayor, Kathy M.. Morris, is authorized to execute all <br /> documents associated with this contract amendment request. <br /> PART 3.
