<br /> 66 <br /> RESOLUTION 1996- 21 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, APPROVING THE FORMAT FOR SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENTS <br /> BETWEEN THE CITY AND VARIOUS AGENCIES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1995 <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS; AUTHORIZING <br /> THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY TO NEGOTIATE THE <br /> TERMS OF INDIVIDUAL AGREEMENTS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br /> MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. The City has executed a contract for a Fiscal Year 1995 Entitlement Community <br /> Development Block Grant in the amount of $740,000.00 with the U.S. Department of <br /> Housing and Urban Development. <br /> 2. The City Council approved the allocation of a portion of these funds to various <br /> community agencies in Resolution 1 995-84R on May 8, 1995. <br /> 3. The City Council desires to provide for disbursing of these allocated grant funds by <br /> authorizing execution of Subrecipient Agreements with these agenciès. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the format of the Subrecipient Agreement attached to this <br /> Resolution between the City and various approved agencies for their receipt of Department <br /> of Housing and Urban Development for Fiscal Year 1995 Community Development Block <br /> Grant Funds is approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley and the City Attorney, Mark B. <br /> Taylor are authorized to negotiate the terms of the individual Subrecipient Agreements to <br /> fit the type of work or activity undertaken by each subrecipient. <br /> PART 3. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute these <br /> Agreements on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 4.
