In accordance with Section 8.16 of the City Charter of the City of San Marcos, <br /> Texas, the City Council declares that a public necessity exists which requires amendment <br /> of the City's 1995-96 budget. <br /> BE IT ORpAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That the City Budget Ordinance for the 1995-96 Fiscal Year is hereby <br /> amended as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, in order to provide funding for the Parker <br /> Drive Water and Wastewater extensions. <br /> SECTION 2. That these revisions and reappropriations which shall be the amended <br /> budget for the City of San Marcos, Texas, for the fiscal year 1995-96, are hereby approved <br /> and adopted. <br /> SECTION 3. That the importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an <br /> imperative public necessity so that the provisions of the Charter requiring that ordinances <br /> shall be presented at three separate meetings and that no ordinance shall become <br />I effective until the expiration of ten (10) days following the date of its final passage be <br /> suspended, and these provisions are hereby suspended, and this Ordinance shall take <br /> effect and be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and after its publication in <br /> a newspaper of general circulation within the City as provided by the City Charter of the <br /> City of San Marcos. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of February ,1996. <br /> <br /> l~!:}. ~ . <br /> ~~ øf~ Mayor <br /> City Secretary <br /> APPRO~D:~,~ <br /> Mark B.
