DRIVE AND HOLLAND STREET FROM IR-1" . <br /> SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (LOW DENSITY) TO <br /> IMF-2" MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (MEDIUM <br /> DENSITY) AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. On February 14, 1995 the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of San <br /> Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the zoning from IR-1" Single- <br /> Family Dwelling District (Low Density) to IMF-2" Multi-Family Residential District (Medium <br /> Density) for a 8.156 acre tract of property located near the intersection of North L B..J. <br /> Drive and Holland Street. <br /> 2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission did, on February 14,1995, consider the request and vote.d to approve and has <br /> recommended that the request be approved by the City Council of Hie City. <br /> 3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 27th day of <br /> March , 1995, regarding the request. <br /> 4. All requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning Ordinance, of the Code of <br /> Ordinances of the City of San Marcos pertaining to amendments have been met. <br /> 5. The City Council finds and determines that the adoption of the following <br /> ordinance is in the interest of the public health, rflorals, welfare and safety. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the City, as described in Section 3 of <br /> the General Zoning Ordinance, is amended to rezone the following real property which is <br /> presently zoned IR-1" Single-Family Dwelling District (Low Density) to IMF-2" Multi-Family <br /> Residential District (Medium Density): <br /> Street address: No direct street access; near intersection of North LB.J. <br /> Drive and Holland Street. <br /> Size: 8.156 acre. <br /> Leqal description: See attached Exhibit A.. <br /> Deed or plat reference: Volume 207, Page 566, Hays County Deed Records. <br /> SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be. in effect ten (10) days from and after its <br /> passage and after it has been subject to reconsideration by the Council at its next regular <br /> meeting following its passage, and provided that the Council did not vote to reconsider it. <br /> If reconsidered on April 10, 199ft shall be in effect ten days from and after its passage <br /> on that date if approved. It shall not go into effect if denied. If not reconsidered and <br /> approved it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as required <br /> by the Charter of the City of San Marcos,Texas. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this27 day of March , 1995, subject <br /> to reconsideration at the next regular City Council meeting scheduled for <br />
