<br /> gi ~- ~J 44 <br /> '" CèJ <br /> :!~ ;.-: S <br /> .::;:: ~"U <br /> L ~ 58 <br /> <I <br /> ORDINANCE 1994- 4 <br /> - <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL <br /> ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING PROPERTY <br /> LOCATED AT 1518 RANCH ROAD 12 FROM "c" <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO "MF-4" MULTI-FAMILY. <br /> DISTRICT (HIGH DENSITY) AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on November 2, 1993, the Zoning Commission of the <br /> City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to <br /> change the zoning from "c" Commercial District to "MF-4" Multi- <br /> Family District (High Density) for property located at 1518 Ranch <br /> Road 12; and, <br /> WHEREAS', subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the <br /> Zoning Commission did, on November 2, 1993 consider the request and <br /> voted to approve it and has recommended that the request be <br /> approved by the City Council of the City; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 24th <br /> day of January , 1994, regarding the request; and, <br /> . <br /> WHEREASr all requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning <br /> Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the city of San Marcos <br /> pertaining to amendments have been met; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the city Council hereby finds and determines that the <br /> adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the <br /> public health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> , <br /> SECTION 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the city, as <br /> described in section 3 of the General Zoning ordinance, is hereby <br /> amended to rezone the following described real property located at <br /> 1518 Ranch Road 12 , San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is <br /> presently zoned "c" Commercial District to "MF-4" Multi-Family <br /> District (High Density): <br /> LOT 2B HIGH CREST ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, AS <br /> SHOWN ON A PLAT RECORDED IN VOLUME 4, PAGE 47 OF THE HAYS <br /> COUNTY PLAT RECORDS. <br /> SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) <br /> days from and after its passage and after it has been subject to <br /> reconsideration by the Council at its next regular meeting <br /> following its passage, and provided that the Council did not vote <br /> to reconsider it. If reconsidered on February 14, 1994it shall be <br /> in effect ten days from and after its passage on that date if <br /> approved. It shall not go into effect if denied. If not <br /> reconsidered and approved it shall be published in a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the <br /> City of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of January, 1994, <br /> subject to reconsideration at the next regular City Council meeting <br /> scheduled for February 14, 1994 . . <br /> R~considered yes no X <br /> If yes approved <br /> denied <br /> date <br />
