gi ~- ~J 44 '" CèJ :!~ ;.-: S .::;:: ~"U L ~ 58 ORDINANCE 1994- 4 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1518 RANCH ROAD 12 FROM "c" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO "MF-4" MULTI-FAMILY. DISTRICT (HIGH DENSITY) AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on November 2, 1993, the Zoning Commission of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the zoning from "c" Commercial District to "MF-4" Multi- Family District (High Density) for property located at 1518 Ranch Road 12; and, WHEREAS', subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Zoning Commission did, on November 2, 1993 consider the request and voted to approve it and has recommended that the request be approved by the City Council of the City; and, WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 24th day of January , 1994, regarding the request; and, . WHEREASr all requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the city of San Marcos pertaining to amendments have been met; and, WHEREAS, the city Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: , SECTION 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the city, as described in section 3 of the General Zoning ordinance, is hereby amended to rezone the following described real property located at 1518 Ranch Road 12 , San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is presently zoned "c" Commercial District to "MF-4" Multi-Family District (High Density): LOT 2B HIGH CREST ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, AS SHOWN ON A PLAT RECORDED IN VOLUME 4, PAGE 47 OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS. SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and after its passage and after it has been subject to reconsideration by the Council at its next regular meeting following its passage, and provided that the Council did not vote to reconsider it. If reconsidered on February 14, 1994it shall be in effect ten days from and after its passage on that date if approved. It shall not go into effect if denied. If not reconsidered and approved it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of January, 1994, subject to reconsideration at the next regular City Council meeting scheduled for February 14, 1994 . .
