<br /> -::r <br /> r~; 0:;- >-1 72 <br /> D~ <:r ~. <br /> -- t:l~ <br /> - <br /> ~u ~ Be <br /> =~ N u.JJj <br /> ::z:. ."/)- <br /> 1L~ c:::: ~o <br /> -:I _b <br /> . =i ~a <br /> ORDINANCE 1994- 11 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL <br /> ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING PROPERTY <br /> LOCATED AT 1408-1410 CLYDE STREET FROM "R-1" <br /> SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (LOW DENSITY). <br /> TO "DP-1" TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (LOW <br /> DENSITY) AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on January 4, 1994, the Zoning Commission of the City <br /> of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change <br /> the zoning from "R-1" Single-Family Dwelling District (Low Density) <br /> to "DP-1" Two-Family Dwelling District (Low Density) for property <br /> located at 1408-1410 Clyde Street; and, <br /> WHEREAS,' subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the <br /> Zoning commission did, on January 4,1994, consider the request and <br /> voted to approve it and has recommended that the request be <br /> approved by the city Council of the city; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 14th <br /> day of February , 1994, regarding the request; and, <br /> ~ <br /> 'WHEREAS, all requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning <br /> Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the city of San Marc.os <br /> pertaining to amendments have been met; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br /> adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the <br /> public health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> , <br /> SECTION 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the city, as <br /> described in Section 3 of the General Zoning Ordinance, is hereby <br /> amended to rezone the following described real property located at <br /> 1408-1410 Clyde Street, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is <br /> presently zoned "R-1" single-Family Dwelling District (Low Density) <br /> to "DP-1" Two-Family Dwelling District (Low Density): <br /> LOTS 33 & 34, BLOCK 2, WESTOVER ADDITION TO THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 59, PAGE 183 OF THE <br /> HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS. <br /> SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) <br /> days from and after its passage and after it has been subject to <br /> reconsideration by the Council at its next regular meeting <br /> following its passage, and provided that the Council did not vote <br /> to reconsider it. If reconsidered on February 28, 1994it shall be <br /> in effect ten days from and after its passage on that date if <br /> approved. It shall not go into effect if denied. If not <br /> reconsidered and approved it shall be published in a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the <br /> City of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of February, 1994, <br /> subject to reconsideration at the next regular City Council meeting <br /> scheduled for February 28, 1994. <br /> Reconsidered yes no X <br /> If yes approved <br /> denied <br /> date <br />
