<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND
<br />USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN'OF THE CITY, FROM
<br />LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO MEDIUM DENSITY
<br />RESIDENTIAL FOR LOTS 4, 5, AND 6, BLOCK 3 AND'
<br />LOTS 4, 5 AND 6, BLOCK 6 OF THE BLANCO GARDENS
<br />SUBDIVISION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS
<br />COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 1,
<br />PAGE 1 OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS,
<br />LOCATED AT 1306, 1307, 1308, 1309, 1310 and
<br />1311 BARBARA DRIVE AND DECLARING ANEFFECTIVE
<br />DATE.
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, on September 29, 1992, the Joint Planning and Zoning
<br />Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing
<br />regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master
<br />Plan from Low Density Residential to Medium Density Residential
<br />for Lots 4, 5, and 6, Block 3 and Lots 4, 5 and 6, Block 6 of the
<br />Blanco Gardens Subdivision, to the City of San Marcos, Hays County,
<br />Texas, as recorded in Volume 1, Page 1, of the Hays County Deed
<br />Records, located at 1306, 1307, 1308, 1309, 1310 and 1311 Barbara
<br />Drive; and, ·
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the
<br />Commissions did, on September 29, 1992, consider the request and
<br />voted to approve it and have recommended that the request be
<br />approved by the City Council of the City; and,
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the llthday
<br />of January , 1993, regarding the request; and,
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of the.Master Plan pertaining to
<br />amendments have been met; and, ~
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the City council herebyfinds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the
<br />public, health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br />
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY cOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br />TEXAS:
<br />
<br /> PART 1. That the following described tract of real property
<br />located at 1306, 1307, 13'08,' 1309, 1310 and 1311 Barbara Drive,
<br />San Marcos, Hays County,' Texas., which is in an area shown on the
<br />Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan °f the City. of San Marcos as
<br />Low Density Residential shall be.shown on that map as Medium
<br />Density Residential: '~

<br /> . LOTS 4,'5, AND 6, BLOCK'3 AND LOTS 4, 5 AND 6, BLOCK 6 OF
<br /> THE BLANCO GARDENS SUBDIVISION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br /> HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS..RECORDED IN VOLUME 1, PAGE 1 OF
<br /> THE HAYS COUNTY. PLAT RECORDS.

<br /> PART 2. That this Resolution 'shall be in full force and
<br />effect from and after its ~assage.
