ORDINANCE 1993- 5 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, REVISING CHAPTER 15, LIBRARY, OF THE <br />SAN MAR~OS CODE OF ORDINANCES TO PROVIDE FOR CERTAIN <br />SERVICE FEES TO BE SET BY THE CITY COUNCIL; SETTING <br />THE AMOUNTS OF THESE FEES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; <br />REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A <br />PENALTY; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND PROVIDING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That Section 15-1 of the San Marcos Code of <br />Ordinances is hereby amended by amending subsection (c) to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />(c) Out-of-County residents shall be charged a fee, set <br /> by separate ordinance, for a library card. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. <br />San Marcos Public Library are hereby established. <br /> <br />That the following fees and charges related to the <br /> <br />city Code Reference <br /> <br />Sec. 15-1(b) <br />Sec. 15-1(c) <br /> <br />Sec. 15-1(d) <br /> <br />Description <br /> <br />Replace library card <br /> <br />Out of County Resident: <br /> <br /> Temporary (3 month) library <br /> card <br /> <br /> Annual library card <br /> <br />Service Charge-lost or <br />damaged materials <br /> <br />$ 2.00 <br /> <br />$ 5.00 <br /> <br />$15.00 <br />$4.00 <br /> <br /> SECTION 3. That if any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or <br />paragraph of this ordinance is held to be unconstitutional or <br />invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining <br />provisions of this ordinance shall remain in effect as if the <br />unconstitutional or invalid portion had not been adopted. <br /> <br /> SECTION 4. That all ordinances and resolutions or parts of <br />ordinances or resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> SECTION 5.
