ORDINANCE 1993- 15 <br />l.L=' ill r=" <br />~ ~ of <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS CHANGING THE NAME FOR <br /> LAUREL STREET BETWEEN BLANCO AND HOUSTON <br /> STREETS TO HANSEN STREET¡ PROVIDING FOR <br /> PUBLICATION AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on November la, 1992 the Planning Commission of <br />the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a <br />request to change the name of Laurel Street between Houston <br />and Blanco Streets to Hansen Street¡ and, <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, <br />the Planning Commission did, on November 10, 1992, approve <br />the request and has recommended that the request be approved <br />by the City Council of the City¡ and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the <br />8th day of February , 1993 regarding the request¡ and, <br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of Chapter 25 of the Code of <br />Ordinances of the City of San Marcos pertaining to street <br />name changes have been met¡ now, therefore, " <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That the street name for Laurel Street <br />between Blanco and Houston Streets is hereby changed to <br />Hansen Street. <br /> SECTION 2.
