AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS CHANGING THE NAME FOR LAUREL LANE ADJACENT TO LOTS 5 AND 6, BLOCK 5 OF SPRING LAKE HILLS ESTATES UNIT 3 (112 LAUREL LANE) TO EAST MIMOSA CIRCLE¡ PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on November 10, 1992 the Planning Commission of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the name of Laurel Lane adjacent to lots 5 and 6, Block 5 of Spring Lake Hills Estates Unit 3 (112 Laurel Lane) to East Mimosa Circle¡ and, WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Planning Commission did, on November 10, 1992, approve the request and has recommended that the request be approved by the City Council of the City¡ and, WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the Jì.t.h... day of February , 1993 regarding the request; and, WHEREAS, all requirements of Chapter 25 ofithe Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos pertaining to street name changes have been met¡ now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the street name for Laurel Lane adjacent to Lots 5 and 6, Block 5 of Spring Lake Hills Estates Unit 3 (112 Laurel L~ne) is hereby changed to East Mimosa Circle. , SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and after its passage, and it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas. PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading February 8, 1993. PASSED AND APPROVED on second reading February 22, 1993.
