RESOLUTION 2013 - 21R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br />THREE TRACTS OF LAND KNOWN AS THE "LEAH TRACT," <br />COMPRISED OF A 1.378 ACRE TRACT OUT OF THE J.M. <br />VERAMENDI SURVEY NO. 1, ABSTRACT NO. 179 A 25.05 ACRE <br />TRACT, BEING LOT 1 OF THE COTTONWOOD PARKWAY <br />ADDITION AND A 1.36 ACRE TRACT, BEING LOT 10A OF THE <br />MUNICIPAL AIRPORT SUBDIVISION; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO PROVIDE NOTICE THAT ALL <br />SUCH BIDS ARE REJECTED AS APPROPRIATE; AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS. <br />1. The City solicited bids for the purchase of three tracts of land known as the "Leah <br />Tract," comprised of a 1.378 acre tract out of the J.M. Veramendi Survey No. 1, Abstract No. 17, <br />a 25.05 acre tract, being Lot 1 of the Cottonwood Parkway Addition and a 1.36 acre tract, being <br />Lot l OA of the Municipal Airport Subdivision. <br />2. The City has determined that the bids received for the Leah Tract are insufficient <br />and wishes to reject all bids. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. All bids for the purchase of the tracts of land comprising the Leah Tract <br />are hereby rejected. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to provide notice that all <br />such bids are rejected as appropriate. <br />PART 3.
