<br /> McGEHEE SUBDIVISION RECORDED IN VOLUME H, PAGE
<br /> 573 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, ALSO
<br /> KNOWN AS BASS PLACE, SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY,
<br /> TEXAS AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 3, PAGE 296 OF THE
<br /> HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS; LOTS 1-C, 2-A, 2-B,
<br /> AND 2-C, BLOCK 2 OF THE RESUBDIVISION OF THE
<br /> C.L. McGEHEE SUBDIVISION RECORDED IN VOLUME H,
<br /> PAGE 573 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS ALSO
<br /> KNOWN AS BASS PLACE, SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY,
<br /> TEXAS AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 2, PAGE 329 OF THE
<br /> HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS AND LOT 3, BLOCK 2 OF
<br /> THE C.L. McGEHEE SUBDIVISION AS RECORDED IN
<br /> VOLUME H, PAGE 573 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED
<br /> RECORDS, LOCATED AT 610, 612, AND 618 W.
<br /> HUTCHISON STREET FROM "R-1" SINGLE-FAMILY
<br /> DWELLING DISTRICT (LOW DENSITY) AND "TH-2"
<br /> TOWNHOUSE RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (MEDIUM
<br /> DENSITY) TO "MF-1" MULTI-FAMILY DISTRICT (LOW
<br /> DENSITY) AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, on November 5, 1991, the Zoning Commission of the
<br /> City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to
<br /> change the zoning from "R-1" Single-Family Dwelling District (Low
<br /> Density) and "TH-2" Townhouse Residential District (Medium Density
<br /> to "MF-1" Multi-Family District (Low Density) for Lots 1-A and 1-B,
<br /> Block 2 of the Resubdivision of the C.L. McGehee Subdivision
<br /> recorded in Volume H, Page 573 of the Hays county Deed Records,
<br /> also known as Bass Place, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas as
<br /> recorded in Volume 3, Page 296 of the Hays County Plat Records;
<br /> Lots 1-C, 2-A, 2-B and 2-C, Block 2 of the Resubdivision of the
<br /> C.L. McGehee Subdivision recorded in Volume H, Page 573 of the Hays
<br /> County Deed Records, also known as Bass Place, San Marcos, Hays
<br /> County, Texas as recorded in Volume 2, Page 329 of the Hays County
<br /> Plat Records and Lot 3, Block 2 of the C.L. McGehee Subdivision as
<br /> recorded in Volume H, Page 573 of the Hays County Deed Records.
<br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the
<br /> Zoning commission did, on November 5, 1991, consider the request
<br /> and voted to approve it and has recommended th2t the request bs
<br /> approved by the City Council of the city; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 13th
<br /> day of January , 1992, regarding the request; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning
<br /> Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos
<br /> pertaining to amendments have been met; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br /> adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the
<br /> public health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br /> TEXAS:
<br /> SECTION 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the City, as
<br /> described in section 3 of the General Zoning Ordinance is hereby
<br /> amended to rezone the following described real property located at
<br /> 610, 612 and 618 W. Hutchison Street in San Marcos, Hays County,
<br /> Texas, which is presently zoned "R-1" Single-Family Dwelling
<br /> District (Low Density) and "TH-2" Townhouse Residential District
<br /> (Medium Density) to "MF-1" Multi-Family District (Low Density) :
