93 - <r cr - ¡Q ORDINANCE 199~- 5 ~ - ;;:-::;¡, ¡....... u AN ORDINANCE THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF OF THE OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS CHANGING THE NAME FOR THE 21ØØ THROUGH 28ØØ BLOCKS OF NORTH LBJ DRIVE TO BISHOP STREET: PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on October 29, 1991 the Planning Commission of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the name of the 21ØØ through 28ØØ blocks of North LBJ Drive to Bishop Street: and, WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Planning Commission did, on October 29, 1991, approve the request and has recommended that the request be approved by the City Council of the City: and, WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 9th day of December , 1991 regarding the request; and, WHEREAS, all requirements of Chapter 25 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos pertaining to street name changes have been met: now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the street name for the 21ØØ-28ØØ blocks of North LBJ Drive is hereby changed to Bishop Street. SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (IØ) days from and after its passage, and it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas. PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading December 9, 1991. PASSED AND APPROVED on second reading December 16, 1991. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED January 13, 1992. Kathy M.
