<br />~ 9 <br /><!> <br /><::s- <br /> <br />~ <br />~ ORDINANCE NO. 1992 - ~ <br /> <br />iJ- <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET <br />ORDINANCE FOR THE 1991-1992 FISCAL YEAR TO <br />PROVIDE INCREASED FUNDING FOR ANIMAL CONTROL <br />SERVICES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after publication of notice on July 21, 1991, the City <br />Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, held a public hearing on <br />August 12, 1991, on the budget proposed by the City Manager for the <br />City for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1991; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at the public hearing all interested persons were given <br />an opportunity to be heard for or against any item or the amount of any <br />item therein contained; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after this public hearing, the City Council adopted. the <br />budget for the City for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1991 and <br />ending on September 30, 1992, on September 9, 1991; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this budget set forth itemized estimates of the expense <br />of conducting the San Marcos municipal government for that fiscal year <br />and appropriated money for the various funds and purposes of such <br />estimate; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 8.16 of the City Charter of <br />the City of San Marcos, Texas, the City Council declares that a public <br />necessity exists which requires amendment of the budget; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That that the City Budget Ordinance for the 1991-1992 <br />Fiscal Year is hereby amended as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, <br />in order to provide increased funding for animal control services in <br />the Environmental Health Department. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That these revisions and reappropriations which shall <br />be the amended budget for the City of San Marcos, Texas~ for the fiscal <br />year 1991-1992 beginning October 1~ 1991 and ending on September 30, <br />1992, are hereby approved and adopted. <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
