<br /> 40 <br /> RESOLUTION 1992 - 18 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE <br /> TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AMENDMENT NUMBER <br /> 2 TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS AND DIVERSIFIED UTILITY <br /> CONSULTANTS, INC.: AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br /> MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AMENDMENT ON <br /> BEHALF OF THE CITY: AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on March 25, 1991, the City of San Marcos <br /> approved an agreement with Diversified Utility Consultants, <br /> Inc. for professional consulting services in connection with <br /> the City's purchase of electric power from the Lower Colorado <br /> River Authority: and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend this agreement to <br /> increase the allowable compensation from $SØ,øøø.øø to <br /> $lØl,71Ø.ØØ: now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNC IL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the terms and conditions of Amendment <br /> No. 2 to that agreement between the City and Diversified <br /> Utility Consultants, Inc. for professional consulting <br /> services in connection with the City's purchase of electric <br /> power from the Lower Colorado Ri ver Authority and the <br /> elimination of the voltage differential in the Authority's <br /> wholesale electric rate to the City, a copy of which is <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and <br /> purposes, are hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley is <br /> authorized to execute the amendment on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
