<br /> 83 <br /> RESOLUTION 1991- --.lJL R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A JOINT ELECTION AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AND THE SAN <br /> MARCOS CONSOLIDATED INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR <br /> THE HOLDING OF A JOINT GENERAL ELECTION ON MAY 4, <br /> 1991; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br /> AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San <br />Marcos, Texas, hereby finds and determines that it is in the <br />best interest of the City to cooperate with the San Harcos <br />Consolidated Independent School District in the holding of a <br />general and special city election on May 4, 1991; and, <br /> viJHEREAS, the School District is willing to <br />participate in the holding of a joint general and special <br />election on that date; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the terms and conditions of a Joint <br />Election Agreement between the City of San Marcos, Texas and <br />the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District for <br />the holding of the general and special city election on May <br />4, 1991, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein for all intents and purposes, are hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is <br />hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the <br />City of San Marcos. <br /> PART 3.
