<br /> - <br /> cr 127 <br /> (j' <br /> - <br /> - <br /> C <br /> (\ <br /> - <br /> a- ORDINANCE 1991- 10 <br /> (j' <br /> - <br /> - <br /> l5 '. <br /> N AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> ro OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE CITY <br /> U..J <br /> ~ HISTORICAL ZONING ORDINANCE WITH REGARD TO <br /> MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE HISTORIC <br /> PRESERVATION COMMISSION; PROVIDING FOR <br /> SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING <br /> ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND <br /> PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1: That subsections (b) and (d) of Section 3 of the <br /> Historical Zoning Ordinance of the City, codified in Appendix G of <br /> the City of San Marcos Code of Ordinances, are hereby amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> . .. <br /> (b) One member shall be a resident of San Marcos from <br /> the architecture or design field of expertise. <br /> (d) One member shall be a property owner or resident <br /> from the San Antonio street Historic District. <br /> SECTION 2. That subsections (e) and (f) of Section 3 of the <br /> Historical Zoning Ordinance of the City, codified in Appendix G of <br /> the City of San Marcos Code of Ordinances, are hereby added as <br /> follows: <br /> . .. <br /> (e) One member shall be a property owner or resident <br /> from the Belvin Street Historic District. <br /> (f) One member shall be a property owner or business <br /> owner within the Downtown Historic District. <br /> SECTION 3. That if any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or <br /> paragraph of this ordinance is held to be unconstitutional or <br /> invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining <br /> provisions of this ordinance shall remain in effect as if the <br /> unconstitutional or invalid portion had not been adopted. <br /> SECTION 4. That all ordinances and resolutions or parts of <br /> ordinances or resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION 5.
