Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present <br />With a quorum present, regular meeting of the San Marcos City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Daniel Guerrero at 5:32 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 in the Council Chambers of the <br />City of San Marcos City Hall, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />3. Receive a Staff update and hold discussion regarding the FY 2013 -2014 Budget process <br />and the recent Planning and Zoning Commission Capital Improvements Program (CIP) <br />recommendations, and provide direction to Staff. <br />Steve Parker, Assistant City Manager /Finance Director, gave a brief update on the FY 2013- <br />2014 budget process and the P &Z Capital Improvements Program (CIP) recommendations. <br />Following discussion the Council provided direction to bring back a future discussion item <br />regarding a comparison of what the school district has versus what we have the ability to do in <br />regards to robo calling to citizens. <br />
