<br />~ 8 <br />6'w <br />- <br />.... <br /> ORDINANCE 1991- 24 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTIONS 29-111 AND 29-15Ø <br /> OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY ADDING A NO <br /> PARKING TOW-AWAY ZONE ON HOPKINS STREET¡ PROVIDING <br /> FOR SEVERABILITY¡ REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING <br /> ORDINANCES¡ PROVIDING A PENALTY¡ PROVIDING FOR <br /> PUBLICATION AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That Section 29-111 of the San Marcos Code <br /> of Ordinances is amended to add the following portion of <br /> Hopkins Street, codified in alphabetical order, upon which <br /> parking shall be prohibited: <br /> Hopkins Street, east side, from its intersection with <br /> Moore Street a distance of SØ4 feet to the South. <br /> SECTION 2. That Section 29-15Ø(c) of the San Marcos <br /> Code of Ordinances is amended to add the following portion of <br /> Hopkins Street, codified in alphabetical order, from which <br /> illegally parked vehicles may be towed at the direction of a <br /> police officer: <br /> Hopkins Street, east side, from its intersection with <br /> Moore Street a distance of SØ4 feet to the South. <br /> SECTION 3. That if any word, phrase, sentence, section, <br /> or portion of this ordinances is found by a court of <br /> competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or <br /> unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions of <br /> this ordinance shall remain in effect. <br /> SECTION 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances <br /> in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION S. That any person violating any provision of <br /> this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and <br /> upon conviction shall be fined in accordance with Section 1-5 <br /> of the San Marcos Code of Ordinances. <br /> SECTION 6.
