<br />:IE @ <br />Q~ c::( <br />III g > <br />~6 <br />lLl~ <br />;f <br /> <br />~~ <br />;=:~ <br />w:IE <br />5~ <br />Y.laJ <br />CI)_ <br />:;::..,0 <br />I-b <br />G3a AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, ORDERING A RUNOFF SPECIAL ELECTION BY THE <br />CITY TO BE HELD ON JUNE 3, 2000 FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />ELECTING A CITY COUNCIL MEMBER, PLACE 6; ESTABLISHING <br />EARLY VOTING LOCATIONS AND POLLING PLACES FOR THIS <br />ELECTION; MAKING PROVISIONS FOR THE CONDUCT OF THE <br />ELECTION; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />36. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 2000- <br /> <br />41 <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. A runoff election is ordered to be held by the City of San Marcos, at <br />the polling places and election precincts within the corporate limits of the City, as <br />designated in this ordinance, on the 3RD day of June, 2000, from the hours of 7:00 a.m. <br />to 7:00 p.m., at which election there shall be elected by the qualified voters of the City, <br />a City Council Member for Place 6, for a terms of three years, in accordance with <br />applicable provisions of the City Charter and State law. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The election precincts for the City election shall be substantially the <br />same precincts as those Hays County Election Precincts which are within the corporate <br />limits of the City of San Marcos. <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
