<br />FIRST ßoaUuoe4I;- COMPANY <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1988-9R <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas <br /> <br />desires to receive bids for the purchase of its $1,340,000 Combination Tax <br /> <br />and Revenue Certificates of Obligation, Series 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, First Southwest Company, Dallas, Texas, has been <br /> <br />authorized and requested to prepare a Notice of Sale and Bidding <br /> <br />Instructions, Official Bid Form and Official Statement containing <br /> <br />financial, economic and other data necessary and desirable to attract bids <br /> <br />for said certificates; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />RESOLVED BY THE <br /> <br />CITY <br /> <br />That the attached Notice of Sale and Bidding Instructions, Official <br /> <br />Bid Form and Official Statement relative to $1,340,000 Combination Tax <br /> <br />and Revenue Certificates of Obligation, Series 1988, are hereby approved, <br /> <br />both as to form and content, and said First Southwest Company is <br /> <br />authorized to distribute said Notice of Sale and Bidding Instructions, <br /> <br />Official Bid Form and Official Statement to prospective bidders for, and <br /> <br />purchasers of, the certificates. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this the 25th day of January, 1988 <br /> <br />by the Ci ty Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas convened in <br /> <br />regular <br /> <br />session with a lawful quorum present. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />041 )Ù;{:~ ø:ßtre'>MÞ) , <br /> <br />t City Secretary <br />i <br /> <br />74 <br />
