123 Regular Meeting March 26, 1984 Page 7 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 29, ARTICLE V, SEC- TION 29-123 AND CHAPTER 29, ARTICLE VII, SECTION 29-152(c) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY TO ADD TEN LOCATIONS WITHIN SAID CITY AT WHICH PARKING SHALL BE PROHIBITED; TO ADD TWELVE LOCATIONS WITHIN SAID CITY WHICH SHALL BE DESIGNATED AS TOW-AWAY ZONES AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Farr moved for adoption of the Ordinance and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. With the recommendation of Chief Galchutt, Mr. Brown then moved to amend the Ordinance in Sections 2 and 3 as follows: "Section 1. . . . San Antonio Street, South side, from Harvey Street in an easterly direction for a distance of 43.5 feet. " - . . . and "Section 2. . . . "San Antonio Street, South side, Harvey Street east for 43.5 feet. " . . . - Ms. Kissler seconded Mr. Brown's motion for amendments, which passed unanimously. The Council then voted unanimous approval for adoption of the Ordinance. Mr. Brown introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance on third and final reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING ORDINANCE 1983-45 ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 12, 1983 WHICH SET FORTH AN ITEMIZED ESTIM- ATE OF THE EXPENSE OF CONDUCTING EACH ADMINISTRATIVE UNIT OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1983, AND ENDING ON SEPTEMBER 30, 1984, AND APPROPRIATED MONEY FOR THE VARIOUS FUNDS AND PURPOSES OF SUCH ESTIMATE, TO REVISE SAID ESTIMATES AND TO REAPPROPRIATE SAID FUNDS; AMEND- ING ORDINANCE 1979-38 WHICH DETERMINED APPROPRIATIONS FOR REVENUE SHARING ENTITLEMENT NO. 11; AMENDING ORDIN- ANCE 1980-37 WHICH DETERMINED APPROPRIATIONS FOR REVEN- UE SHARING ENTITLEMENT NO. 12; AMENDING ORDINANCE 1981- 70 WHICH DETERMINED APPROPRIATIONS FOR REVENUE SHARING ENTITLEMENT NO. 13; ADOPTING SAID REVISIONS AND ESTIM- ATES AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Ms. Kissler moved for adoption of the Ordinance and Mr. Brown seconded the motion. Mr. Moore said he would like the Staff to hold off on pur- chase of dirt for the cemetery as requested in this budget amendment and for the maintenance contractor of the cemetery to use the dirt from the Mill Street drainage project. City Manager Gonzalez said the Staff would hold off on the purchase of top soil. The Council voted unanimous approval for adoption of the Ordinance.
