4. Consider adoption or direction to Staff on matters discussed in Executive Session. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Guerrero and a second by Council <br />Member Scott, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to accept the award of <br />special commissioners in the matter styled City of San Marcos V. Cape Family Limited <br />Partnership, Cause No. 15223 -C, in the Hays County Court at Law No. 2., in the amount of <br />$891410.00 as compensation for the acquisition of a .205 acre tract of land, including remainder <br />damages, for the Cape Road Bridge Project. The motion carried unanimously. <br />5. Receive Quarterly Report from the Greater San Marcos Partnership, and provide <br />direction to staff. <br />Adriana Cruz, President of the Greater San Marcos Partnership, provided the Council with the <br />Partnership's quarterly report. <br />6. Receive a Staff presentation and update on the Victory Gardens Subdivision and <br />Drainage Protects, and provide direction to Staff. <br />Rey Garcia, Senior Engineer, provided the Council with an update on the Victory Gardens <br />Subdivision and Drainage Projects. <br />7. Invocation <br />Pastor Dennis Spire, of Calvary Baptist Church, provided the invocation. <br />8. Pledges of Allegiance - United States and Texas <br />Council Member Jude Prather led the council in the pledges. <br />9. 30 Minute Citizen Comment Period <br />Sam Brannon, San Marcos, addressed the Council as the local affairs chair of the Hays <br />Constitutional Republicans, and notified the Council that they passed a resolution for the City to <br />remove fluoride from the water supply. <br />Lenee Lovejoy, San Marcos, addressed the Council regarding their request for the Council to <br />take fluoridation out of the budget. She stated that the City of College Station no longer adds <br />fluoride to their water. She provided a statement provided by the College Station Director of <br />Public Works' Report. <br />Jamie Starrak, San Marcos, addressed the Council regarding their request to remove fluoride <br />from the San Marcos water supply. She continued by providing information regarding their <br />concerns of fluoridation of water. She asked the Council to pass the resolution that was <br />provided. <br />
