J. D. Oliver reviewed the Commission's written report
with the Council, a copy of which is attached to these minutes, and
which report reviews current leases, accomplishments and projects of
the Commission.
Mayor Craddock opened a public hearing to consider the annexation of
14.14 acres of land, more or less, in the Thomas H. Bill pryatel stated he was not opposed to an-
nexations but wanted the newly annexed areas to pay for their own uti-
lities and that the Bond Committee's recommendations for sewer and
water improvements were for maintenance of existing lines, not new
extensions (Jaime Moore present at this time). No one else wished to
speak in favor or in opposition to the annexation, so Mayor Craddock
closed the public hearing. This annexation proceeding was commenced
upon the receipt of a petition for annexation from Keys Builders, and
they have now requested the annexation proceeding be suspended.
