<br /> Airport Commission <br />During 1984, the Airport Commission has: <br />-- approved a standard lease <br />-- approved a tiedown agreement <br />-- approved a t-hangar lease agreement <br />-- approved airport rules and regulations <br />-- negotiated a lease agreement with North Þ~erican Aerospace <br />-- recoITLmended zoning changes <br />Current projects include: <br />-- arranging for utilities <br />-- negotiations for land leases with maintenance shop <br />-- 21 acre land acquisition <br />-- capital improvements (reflectors, entrance sign, etc.) <br />-- "Minimum Standards and Requirements for the Conduct of a CorrLffiercial <br /> Aeronautical Activities" -document <br />-- height hazard zoning <br />-- selection of consultant for AlP Project <br />The Airport Commission is aware of the apparent inconsistencies In <br />various leases. To address this problem, and to prevent even the <br />appearance of "sweetheart" deals, the Commission is setting on record, <br />in the form of standard documents available to anyone interested in <br />the Airport, certain requirements and standards for businesses operating <br />out of the Airport. They have also approved a standard lease format, <br />which was used in the recent negotiations with North &ùerican l~erospace, <br />and will be used in all future lease negotiations. These and other <br />documents, which are listed above, will be coming before +--1--"" City <br /> '-..~ <br />Council for approval shortly. <br />As you can see, the Airport Commission has been very busy during the <br />first four months of 1984. The Commission's goal for 1984: to bring <br />the Airport "up to speed" with other airports In Texas and the nation, <br />to attract new business, and to provide San ,Narcos with an airport to <br />be proud of. <br />
