No refund will be <br />made after work has commenced. <br /> <br />(c) In the event application for a permit is <br />made later than 24 hours after work has commenced <br />(excluding weekends and holidays), the permit fees <br />shall be increase'd to double the amount normally <br />charged, not to exceed $100.00 in additional <br />charges. <br /> <br />Sec. 9-5.4. Issuance or denial of permit; terms and <br />conditions. <br /> <br />(a) Upon receipt of a permit, the electrician <br />may start the proposed job and make the <br />installation described in his or her application, <br />requesting inspections by the Electrical Inspector <br />in the proper sequence as the work progresses. <br /> <br />(b) There shall only be one (1) permit issued <br />or outstanding at the same time on anyone (1) <br />installation of electrical equipment, or other work <br />covered by this Chapter. <br /> <br />(c) In the event of death or disability of <br />the permit holder, the business entity performing <br />the work under the permit will be allowed to <br />complete existing work for which permits had been <br />obtained provided that sufficient evidence is <br />submitted to and approved by the Electrical Board <br />that the business entity is able to complete the <br />work in the manner provided for under this <br />ordinance. Approval to continue shall be granted <br />on a month-to-month basis for a period not to <br />exceed six months, at which time the business <br />entity must employ a Master Electrician licensed <br />under this Ordinance to oversee the completion of <br />the work, or work must cease. A new permit shall <br />not be required for completion of the work under <br />this subsection. <br /> <br />Sec. 9-5.5. Inspections. <br /> <br />(a) The Electrical Inspector shall inspect <br />and approve electrical work after rough-in and upon <br />final completion of the work, and if the Electrical <br />Inspector deems that the complexi ty of the <br />electrical work demands it, he may schedule <br />additional inspections to be made at appropriate <br />times during construction. When additional <br />inspections are necessary, the Electrical Inspector <br />shall notify the permit holder in writing of the <br />required schedule and it shall be unlawful for the <br />permit holder to fail to request inspections <br />pursuant to the schedule. <br />
