<br />-5- <br /> <br />SECTION 7. That the following proposition regarding a <br />street assessment program shall be submitted to the resident <br />qualified voters of the City of San Marcos, Texas on said date for <br />their consideration and/or action thereon: <br /> <br />FOR/AGAINST <br /> <br />Proposition No. 25 (Non-binding) <br /> <br />The establishment of a street assessment <br />program whereby owners will be charged for <br />paving improvements on streets abutting their <br />property. <br /> <br />SECTION 8. That the following proposition regarding <br />approval of subdivision plat".s by the City Council shall be <br />submitted to the resident". qualified vot.ers of the City of San <br />Marcos, Texas on said date for their consideration and/or action <br />thereon: <br /> <br />FOR/AGAINST <br /> <br />Proposition No. 26 <br /> <br />Authorizing the City Council to approve <br />subdivision plats after their approval by the <br />Planning Commission, as permitted by state <br />law. <br /> <br />SECTION 9. That the election precincts for said election <br />shall be, in all respects, the same precincts as those Hays County <br />Election Precincts which are wi,thin the corporate limits of the <br />Ci ty of San Marcos and all those Hays, Caldwell, and Guadal upe <br />County Election Precincts which are within the boundaries of the <br />San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District. <br /> <br />SECTION lØ. That the Cit".y Council of the City of San <br />Marcos, Texas shall, on or before April 21, 1988, by resolution <br />duly adopted, appoint presiding judges and alternate judges to <br />serve in said election at the polling places for the respective <br />precincts set forth hereinabove, and it shall be each such judge1s <br />duty to hold the elect".ion in the respective precincts set forth <br />hereinabove, and any vacancies occurring after the appointment of <br />
