Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Emergency Meeting held July 25, 1984. Mr. Coddington moved to approve the minutes and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Coddington, Craddock, Guerra, Kissler. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Farr. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Special Meeting held August 6, 1984. Mr. Farr moved to approve the minutes and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion, which passed unani- mously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of two appoint- ments to the Historic Preservation Commission. One of these members must be an architect. Mayor Craddock moved to place the names of Gwen Smith, Frances Stovall and Martha Latta (architect) in nomination and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: (both appointments to complete vacancies). CODDINGTON: Latta, Smith. FARR: Latta, Stovall. CRADDOCK: Latta, Smith. GUERRA: Latta, Smith. KISSLER: Latta, Smith. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration one appointment to the Commission for Women. Mr. Coddington moved to appoint Roxanne McKimmey to complete the vacancy of Cindy Medina and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of one appointment as an alternate on the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals. Mayor Craddock moved to appoint Elida Mendez and Mr. Farr seconded the mo- tion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock directed an Ordinance amendment be presented to the Council requiring all members of this Board to live in the City. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of two appointments to the Sunset Advisory Commission. Prior to the meeting Mr. Guerra had placed a name in nomination for the Council's consideration, but with- drew the name from nomination during the meeting. Mayor Craddock then directed an Ordinance amendment be presented to the Council creating a 7-member Board rather than 9-member Board for the Sunset Advisory Board. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of three appoint- ments to the Housing Authority Board. Mr. Farr moved for reappoint- ment of Charley Williams and reappointment of Dr. Elmer Good and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Council directed the third appointment be placed on a future agenda. Mayor Craddock opened a public hearing to consider changing the zoning of 0.46 acres out of the T. J. Chambers Survey from "R-l" to "MF-4" and asked if anyone wished to speak in favor of the zoning change. Attorney Jeff Freidman, representing the owners of the property, stated the zoning of this property was in compliance with the Master Plan. No one else
