<br />6:) <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Regular Meeting August 13, 1984 Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br />AYE: Coddington, Craddock, Guerra, Kissler. <br />NAY: None. <br />þ,BSTAIN: Farr. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes <br />of the Emergency Meeting held July 25, 1984. Mr. Coddington moved <br />to approve the minutes and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. On roll <br />call the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Coddington, Craddock, Guerra, Kissler. <br />NAY: None. <br />ABSTAIN: Farr. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes <br />of the Special Meeting held August 6, 1984. Mr. Farr moved to approve <br />the minutes and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion, which passed unani- <br />mously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of two appoint- <br />ments to the Historic Preservation Commission. One of these members <br />must be an architect. Mayor Craddock moved to place the names of <br />Gwen Smith, Frances Stovall and Martha Latta (architect) in nomination <br />and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote <br />was recorded: (both appointments to complete vacancies). <br /> <br />CODDINGTON: Latta, Smith. <br />FARR: Latta, Stovall. <br />CRADDOCK: Latta, Smith. <br />GUERRA: Latta, Smith. <br />KISSLER: Latta, Smith. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration one appointment to the <br />Commission for Women. Mr. Coddington moved to appoint Roxanne McKimmey <br />to complete the vacancy of Cindy Medina and Ms. Kissler seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of one appointment <br />as an alternate on the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals. Mayor <br />Craddock moved to appoint Elida Mendez and Mr. Farr seconded the mo- <br />tion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock directed an Ordinance <br />amendment be presented to the Council requiring all members of this <br />Board to live in the City. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of two appointments <br />to the Sunset Advisory Commission. Prior to the meeting Mr. Guerra had <br />placed a name in nomination for the Council's consideration, but with- <br />drew the name from nomination during the meeting. Mayor Craddock then <br />directed an Ordinance amendment be presented to the Council creating <br />a 7-member Board rather than 9-member Board for the Sunset Advisory <br />Board. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of three appoint- <br />ments to the Housing Authority Board. Mr. Farr moved for reappoint- <br />ment of Charley Williams and reappointment of Dr. Elmer Good and Ms. <br />Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Council <br />directed the third appointment be placed on a future agenda. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock opened a public hearing to consider changing the zoning <br />of 0.46 acres out of the T. J. Chambers Survey from "R-l" to "MF-4" and <br />asked if anyone wished to speak in favor of the zoning change. Attorney <br />Jeff Freidman, representing the owners of the property, stated the zoning <br />of this property was in compliance with the Master Plan. No one else <br />
