<br />Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
<br />
<br />Mr. Brown moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session pursuant to
<br />Article 6252-17, §2(e) and §2(g), V.A.C.S., to discuss personnel, con-
<br />templated litigation and matters where the duty of a public body's
<br />counsel to his client pursuant to the Code of Professional Responsi-
<br />bility clearly conflicts with this Article. Mr. Farr seconded the
<br />motion, which passed unanimously (7:31 p.m.).
<br />
<br />Mr. Brown moved the Council convene at 8:29 p.m. and Ms. Kissler se-
<br />conded the motion, which passed unanimously.
<br />
<br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of
<br />the Regular Meeting held April 23, 1984. Mr. Guerra moved for approval
<br />and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
<br />
<br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of
<br />the Special Meeting held April 30, 1984. Mr. Farr moved for approval
<br />and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
<br />
<br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of
<br />the Special Meeting held May 7, 1984. Mr. Farr moved for approval and
<br />Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was
<br />recorded:

<br />AYE: Coddington, Farr, Craddock, Guerra, Kissler.
<br />
<br />NAY: None.
<br />ABSTAIN: Brown.
<br />
<br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration an emergency addendum item,
<br />confirmation of the City Manager's appointment to the Civil Service Com-
<br />mission. Mr. Brown moved to confirm the appointment of Berry James and
<br />Mr. Guerra seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was re-
<br />corded:
