Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PRICE AND CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OF .03 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF HO~Œ FARM BLOCKS, A SUBDIVISION LOCATED HJ SAID CITY, TO RAFAEL GONZALES; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED TO RAFAEL GONZALES AND DECLAR- ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, GRANTING TO THE SAN MARCOS BREAKFAST LIONS CLUB A FRANCHISE FOR THREE YEARS TO OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A TAXI SERVICE WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF SAID CITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRANSPORTING PERSONS USING INNERTUBES ON THE SAN MARCOS RIVER; PRESCRIBING THE TERMS, CONDITIONS, OBLIGATIONS AND LIMITATIONS UPON WHICH SAID FRANCHISE SHALL BE EXER- CISED AND SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Farr moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was re- corded: AYE: Brown, Coddington, Farr, Craddock, Kissler. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Guerra. A first reading was held on this Ordinance on April 23, 1984 and a first reading at this meeting so that the Ordinance could be published in its entirety in a newspaper within 15 days of its first reading, as required by the City Charter on franchise agreements. The Council again request- ed Frank Rich to provide the Council with a report on the distribution of their charitable funds. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on second reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PRICE AND CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OF LOTS ONE (1), TWO (2) AND THREE (3) IN BLOCK EIGHT ( 8), VICTORY GARDENS, SECTION ONE (l), A SUBDIVISION LO- CATED IN SAID CITY, TO LUIS FRANCISCO SILGUERO; AUTHOR- IZING THE ~.AYOR TO EXECUTE A WARRAN7Y DEED TO LUIS FRANCISCO SILGUERO AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Guerra moved for approval of the Ordinance on second reading and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
