25. Remove from table and discussion on the status of Sink Creek wastewater line • <br />construction and purpose, and provide direction to staff. This item was moved for <br />discussion before the Consent Agenda. <br />Sabas Avila updated the City Council on the Sink Creek Interceptor Project. This is a large <br />diameter wastewater line that will extend the wastewater gravity sewer from Post Road to N. <br />LBJ via Lime Kiln and Sink Creek. This project was identified in the 1995 master plan as a <br />needed project associated with the wastewater capacity issue with the University/Main <br />interceptor and will eliminate the need for three lift stations over the contributing zones of the <br />Edwards Aquifer. <br />26. Question and answer session with press and public. <br />Theron Britain, University Star, asked who the Graffiti Ordinance was referred to. Mayor <br />Narvaiz stated that it was sent back to the Police Department. <br />27. Executive Session <br />In accordance with the Texas Government Code, §551.087 - Economic Development, the San <br />Marcos City Council convened into Executive Session at 11:53 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, <br />2009 in order to continue discussing matters pertaining to: <br />A. Deliberation on offers of possible incentives to entities considering locating or • <br />expanding in the San Marcos community. <br />The Executive Session adjourned at 12:20 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2009. <br />28. Reconvene and Consider Action on Item Discussed During Executive Session. <br />The San Marcos City Council reconvened into regular session at 12:20 a.m. on Wednesday, <br />February 18, 2009. No action was required from Executive Session. <br />29. Adjournment. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Jones and a second by Councilmember <br />Terry, the City Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed, to adjourn the regular session of <br />the San Marcos City Council at 12:18 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2009.
