Hutchison <br />San Marcos, Tx 78666 <br /> <br />Dear Ms. Langenkamp: <br /> <br />I am writing to express my support of your efforts to ,acquire <br />funding for additional services for adult education in San <br />Marcos through the Library Services and Construction Act, Title <br />I Grant. <br /> <br />As Executive Director of Community Action, Inc., an organiza- <br />tion which deals with the disadvantaged, I am continually im- <br />pressed with the growing cry of adults seeking a second chance, <br />a chance to turn a life filled with many unachieved goals into <br />a life filled with achieved goals. It is continually fulfilling <br />to see these adults achieve the goal of GED mastery. <br /> <br />More tutors are needed to help these members of our community <br />make this effort. It is a proven fact that in order for people <br />to obtain a job they must be able to perform, to read instruc- <br />tions and master the English language.
