Hutchison
San Marcos, TX 78666

Dear Ms. Langenkamp:

I write on behalf of the San Marcos Ministerial Association to
support your grant application for funding library services for
those for whom English is a second language.

We in the churches of San Marcos are very conscious of the needs
of our non-English speaking population. Most of our denomina-
tions have either a separate congregation or at least a separate
service for Spanish speaking persons. We are very aware of the
needs of this group for assistance in becoming a full part of
this community.

It is crucial to the concord and welfare of this city that all
E~S. L. populations be fully integrated into our society. The
tutoring and other support services made possible by such a grant
would be a major support to this effort.

Our best wishes on your continue your effort.

co~~ yours,

(Thl ;e~~ )f~r~'Ul1er
