<br />CONTRACT FOR SERVICES <br /> <br />The following is an agreement between the City of San Marcos and <br />to present a series of story time programs for the <br />Hispanic community in San Marcos. The story time program is part of the Life- <br />long Learning Project and will be paid through an LSCA, Title I grant adminis- <br />tered by the San Marcos Public Library. <br /> <br />agrees to provide the following <br />services on behalf of the San Marcos Public Library: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Prepare and present twenty story time programs to be held <br />at weekly intervals beginning January, 1989 and <br />concluding May, 1989. The progt=ãñ1S will be held <br />at the Southside Community Center and/or other locations <br />designated by the library. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />I ssue library cards and provide information about the library <br />to participants of the story time program. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Take an assortment of library books to each story time ses- <br />sion and check them out to the participants in accordance <br />with standard library procedures. <br /> <br />ij. <br /> <br />Report the number of participants in attendance, the number <br />of library cards issued and the number of of books borrowed <br />to the Lifelong Learning Project Coordinator each week. <br /> <br />In return the San Marcos Public library agrees to: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Pay $30.00 per story time session offered. (Payment will be <br />made in five monthly payments at the conclusion of each <br />month of programs.) <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Provide all materials and equipment needed for the program. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Provide all program publicity. <br /> <br />Story time Presenter <br /> <br />A.C.
