<br />At the time San Marcos decides it is necessary to receive treated <br /> <br />surface water, a 12-month notice will be given New Braunfels to <br /> <br />provide the service. <br /> <br />San Marcos will have the option to request <br /> <br />their total projected demand of <br /> <br />million gallons/ day in two <br /> <br />equal increments. <br /> <br />wi thin four <br /> <br />(4) <br /> <br />months of the notice to provide service, <br /> <br />New <br /> <br />Braunfels will <br /> <br />complete construction plans, <br /> <br />specifications and <br /> <br />corltract documents for San Marcos' <br /> <br />approval. <br /> <br />Upon delivery of <br /> <br />said plans, San Marcos will pay New Braunfels for the engineering <br />costs of preparation of these plans and will provide proof that <br /> <br />funds <br /> <br />sufficient <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />complete <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />engineer's <br /> <br />estimate <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />project are on hand. <br /> <br />The construction contractor will be paid on <br /> <br />the basis of monthly completion estimates as work proceeds. <br /> <br />Along with the notice to provide service, San Marcos shall submit <br /> <br />in writing the specific capacities within the treatment facility <br /> <br />which will be set aside for San Marcos. <br /> <br />New Braunfels will own <br /> <br />all project land and improvements and San Marcos will be entitled <br />to its pro rata share of the treatment capacity as specified by <br /> <br />San Marcos. <br /> <br />TRANSMISSION MAINS <br /> <br />In general, there will be two sets of transmission mains. <br /> <br />The <br /> <br />first set will be the transmission maines) between the treatment <br /> <br />facility and San Marcos' <br /> <br />storage tank <br /> <br />general <br /> <br />vicinity <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Kolenberg <br /> <br />(to be located <br />intersection). <br /> <br />in the <br /> <br />This <br /> <br />transmission maines) <br /> <br />will be owned entirely by the ci ty of New <br /> <br />Braunfels. <br /> <br />This main(s) will be used to convey treated water from <br /> <br />the treatment facility to the storage tank. <br /> <br />The other sets of <br /> <br />transmission mains will be those which will carry water from the <br />
