IIC a3r%., �U L11L. %- UUlll�ll LO UV W11QU.V\-1 LII%sY t�UUILI LV �LUP IL. <br />Joel Romo, Austin, addressed the Council as a representative of the American Heart Association <br />and their support of the adoption of the smoking ban ordinance, and he asked the Council to <br />strengthen the rules of e- cigarettes as well. <br />Dianne Wassenich, San Marcos, provided her strong support of the Council approving the <br />smoking ban ordinance. She also addressed the Council regarding the truck stop out next to the <br />Blanco Vista, asked the Council to do something about it. Lastly she addressed the Sessom <br />Creek study that was presented to Parks Board. <br />Lou Oldyke, Hays County, addressed the Council regarding the possible truck stop being built in <br />Kyle out by the Blanco Vista. He asked the City Council to do whatever they can to stop it. <br />Paula Hamilton, San Marcos, addressed the Council regarding the possible truck stop being built <br />in Kyle out by Blanco Vista. She asked the City Council to go out and protect this single family <br />development. She addressed her concerns with air and noise pollution that will be caused by this <br />truck stop. <br />Michael Walton, San Marcos, addressed the Council regarding the smoking ban ordinance and <br />asked them to approve the smoking ban ordinance. He also addressed the Council regarding the <br />truck stop potentially being developed adjacent to Blanco Vista and asked the �'ouncil to try and <br />do something. <br />Robert Doerr, San Marcos, addressed the Council regarding the proposed truck stop in Kyle. He <br />didn't know what the Council could do, but certainly would appreciate any help that the Council <br />could provide. <br />Consent Agenda <br />8.
