Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present <br />With a quorum present, special meeting of the San Marcos City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Daniel Guerrero at 12:10 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2013 in the Council Chambers of <br />the City of San Marcos City Hall, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />3. 12:OOPM Executive Session in accordance with 551.074 of the Texas Government <br />Code - Personnel Matters: City Manager vacancy. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Scott and a second by Council Member <br />Thomaides, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to enter closed session. <br />The motion carried unanimously. <br />4. Consider adoption or direction to Staff on matters discussed in Executive Session. <br />Council provided additional direction and discussed items that will be used in connection with <br />the City Manager search process. <br />
