1 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, JUNE 25, 1984 PRESENT: Mayor Emmie Craddock Council Members Karl Brown Bill Coddington Gerald G. Hankins Director of Public Works George Boeker Acting Director of Finance Wayne Moore Chief of Police Myron Galchutt Also Present: Kent Finlay, Mark Hendricks, Jerri Martin, Olga Garza, Allen English, Gregg Echols, Daniel Brown, Shirley Wickersham, Betty Stansbury, Joe Dobie, Ken Claybourn, Nancy Coddington, Wayne Moore, Cecil Cowan, Oscar Carpenter, Bill Thomas, Augustin Lucio and others. Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held June 11, 1984. Mr. Brown moved for ap- proval and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Special Meeting held June 12, 1984. Mr. Farr moved for approval and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Special Meeting held June 13, 1984. Mr. Coddington moved for approval and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an appointment to fill the vacancy on the Building Code Board of Adjustments and Appeals. Mayor Craddock moved to appoint Shirley Wickersham and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of appointments to the Cemetery Commission. Mr. Farr moved to appoint Mrs. Bob VanGundy and Mrs. Josephine Wiegand and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of appointments to the Ethics Review Commission. Mr. Coddington moved to appoint Gilbert Fulmer, Richard "Dick" Henderson and Orpha Bazan and Mr. Brown seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for approval of an appointment to the Examining and Supervising Board of Electricians. Mr. Coddington moved to appoint Mr. Cecil Cowan as the LCRA Represenative and Mr. Farr seconded the mo- tion which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of appointments to the Sunset Advisory Commission. Mayor Craddock moved to appoint Gregg Echols, George VonderLippe, Brenda Smith and Joyce Glore and Mr. Farr seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock stated that there were five (5) more nominees needed to be appointed at a later date. * Fred Guerra was present at 9:10 p.m. ** Ms. Kissler and Mr. Moore were not present at this meeting. *** Ms. Womack was attending a conference in St. Louis, Missouri.
