<br />PERFORMANCE STATEMENT <br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> <br />Contractor shall carry out the following activities in the target area <br />identified on the map in its 1987 COImUnity DeveloP88nt Fund application: <br /> <br />Sect ion 1. <br /> <br />Water and Sewer Facilities <br /> <br />Contractor shall install four hundred fifty (450) linear feet of six inch <br />(6Ø) PVC, C-900 water mains to replace two inch (2-) lines in Reyes Street, <br />including reconstruction of fourteen (14) water services and appurtenant <br />valves and fittings. <br /> <br />These activities shall benefit thirty-eight (38) persons, of which thirty <br />(30) or seventy-nine percent (791) are of low to moderate income. <br />Contractor shall use the bid/contract process to complete these activities <br />utilizing Eleven Thousand Three Hundred Thirty and No/IOO Dollars. <br />($11,330.00) of local funds. <br /> <br />Section 5. <br /> <br />Flood and Drainage Improvements <br /> <br />Contractor shall construct eight hundred thirty (830) linear feet of storm <br />drain lines, four (4) concrete curb inlets and one thousand two hundred <br />(l,lOO) linear feet of drainage channe1 with concrete rip-rap inlet/outlet <br />structures along Reyes and Knox Streets. <br /> <br />These activities shall benefit eighty-five (85) persons, of which <br />seventy-five (75) or eighty-eight percent (88%) are of low to moderate <br />income. Contractor shall use the bid/contract process to complete these <br />activities utilizing Fifty-nine Thousand Three Hundred Thirty and No/IOO <br />Dollars ($59,330.00) of contract funds and Eight Thousand Three Hundred <br />Seventy and No/100 Dollars ($8,370.00) of local funds. <br /> <br />Section 4. <br /> <br />Street Improvements <br /> <br />Contractor shall reconstruct three thousand three hundred ninety (3,390) <br />linear feet of existing streets, twenty-four foot (24') to thirty foot (30') <br />wide of eight inch (8-) crushed limestone base with one and one-half inch <br />(1 1/2-) of hot mix asphalt paving and concrete curb and gutters. <br />Construction shall include repair of existing driveways and adjustments of <br />utilities as necessary. Construction shall occur on the following <br />streets: on Herdon Street fro. Centre Street to Valley Street; and all of <br />Knox Street. <br /> <br />These activities shall benefit eighty-five (85) persons, of which <br />seventy-five (75) or eighty-eight percent (88%) are of low to moderate <br />income. Contractor shall use the bid/contract process to complete these <br />activities utilizing Two Hundred Forty Thousand Six Hundred Seventy and <br />No/IOO Dollars (S240,670.00) of contract funds. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
