34 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, JULY 23, 1984 PRESENT: Hayor Emmie Craddock Council Members * Karl W. Brown Bill Coddington * Gerald G. Services Dinah Elwell Acting Director of Planning Bill Thomas Also Present: Olga Garza, Mark Hendricks, Curtis Adrian, Terry Colley, Betty Stansbury, Gregg Echols, Shirley Wickersham, Jerri Martin, Charles Chapman, Jack Lindstrom, Bud Walker, George VonderLippe, Jake Krauskopf, Joe Dobie, Lupe picassio and others. Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held July 9, 1984. Mr. Coddington moved for approval and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion. On roll call the follow- ing vote was recorded: AYE: Coddington, Craddock, Guerra. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Kissler. The motion failed (lack of quorum vote) and will be placed on the August 13, 1984 agenda for approval. Mayor Craddock directed that approval of the minutes of the July 12 Emergency Meeting also be placed on the August 13 agenda for approval. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of two appoint- ments to the Historic Preservation Commission. Mr. Guerra moved this item be tabled and the next item be tabled (approval of one appoint- ment to the Commission for Women) until more Council Members were pre- sent to vote and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of four appoint- ments to the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals. Mr. Guerra moved for reappointment of John Saunders, reappointment of Merry FitzPatrick and appointment of Susie Tilka and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. An appointment of another member to the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals will be placed on the August 13, 1984 agenda. * Messrs. Brown, Farr and Moore were not present at this meeting.
